Tadpole vs Delta trikes
I have both a Delta (two wheels in back) upright and a Tadpole (two wheels in front) Recumbent Trike. The delta is a handy truck for doing groceries etc but the tadpole is by far the sports car of the two and way more fun.

A few pictures of my Trike:

Way cool! I got to ride a tadpole trike once, and it was great!..but the steering felt a little strange for me. Did you have to get used to the steering?

I have both types and while the delta will turn in nearly its own length, at speed it takes a sharp watch as it will pull every which way with every uneven spot in the road.

The Catrike is just the opposite. Very hard to turn in tight spots(I often lean forward to lift the rear wheel and do a 180 on the front two rather than try)it is very much easier at speed and only rarely get into trouble like a tight zig zag in a below grade sidewalk. And even there the short wheelbase gets through where the much longer delta has trouble on that point.

In neither case does the steering track like a car or bicycle, but the Catrike is well behaved in that it does not tend to go leaping off by itself.

Nice. Which model Catrike is that?

It is an older Catrike Pocket(2006?)that seems to be the largest one they made as all the others I have seen seem smaller. It has the 406 wheels all around.

What other Tadpole folks are here?
